In order to facilitate a safe and orderly morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, we ask that you read the following information carefully before arriving for the first day of school on Monday, August 30.
SchoolPass
This year we will be using SchoolPass to manage attendance including late arrival, early pick-up, absences, Early Childhood and Lower School dismissal, and wellness checks. You will receive a welcome email on Friday, August 20 from SchoolPass with specific instructions for what you need to do to help us manage a safe and orderly environment. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder. We will have a troubleshooting table at the Bounce Back to BZ event on August 26 to answer all your SchoolPass questions.

Arrival and Before School
We will be using a staggered arrival this year. Please drop your child(ren) off using the following timetable:
Entry Doors
Just like last year, different grade levels will use different points of entry into the school to avoid crowding. Please help your child arrive in the following locations:
-
Front Door: Grades 1 and 2
-
SK Blacktop Door (near the sukkah): Grades 4, 7, and 8
-
Cummings Entrance: Grades 3, 5, and 6
-
Climbing Playground: All EC students
This year we will welcome Early Childhood and Lower School siblings of Middle School students into the building at 7:45 a.m. They will be supervised in a socially distanced manner until 8:00 a.m. when they are allowed to go to their classrooms. Normally this will happen in Blum so these early arriving siblings should enter through the Cummings door. However, at the start of the year during the High Holiday season, these students will use the front entrance and take the stairs directly to the fourth-floor gym. Beginning on Tuesday, September 21, we will move to Blum. Students who do not have Middle School siblings are asked to arrive according to the schedule listed above.
First Day of Early Childhood
To help ease the transition back to school for our youngest students, Early Childhood will have later arrival times on the first day, Monday, August 30. These students should plan to be greeted by their teachers on the west side of the Early Childhood wing (adjacent to the playground) at the following times. Those EC students with LS siblings can begin arriving at 8:15 a.m.:
-
Senior Kindergarten: 8:35 - 8:45 a.m.
-
Junior Kindergarten: 8:45 - 8:55 a.m.
-
Nursery: 8:55 - 9:05 a.m.
