🚜🦺 Anshe Emet Synagogue Construction: Temporary Adjustments to Campus Operations
Barbara Vijuk, Associate Head of School for Operations
As many of you know, Anshe Emet Synagogue recently launched an exciting capital campaign that will bring significant enhancements to our shared campus over the coming year. Construction will include a renovated Chapel, a new gathering space, and additional restroom facilities that will benefit the community for years to come.
While this work is underway, there will be some temporary adjustments to campus operations. Because construction equipment will occupy part of the parking lot, arrival and dismissal traffic patterns will temporarily change this coming school year (Fall 2026). We are finalizing those plans now and will share detailed information with families in the coming weeks. While construction is underway, some activities may take place in different campus locations than they have in the past. Our administrative team is thoughtfully planning these adjustments to minimize disruption to students' daily routines.
The synagogue and school have been working together for many months to prepare for this project. Operations, facilities, and security teams are coordinating closely with the construction team to prioritize safety, minimize disruption, and ensure that campus continues to operate smoothly throughout the school year. We appreciate your flexibility as we navigate these temporary changes together.
When construction is complete next spring, our entire school community will benefit from these beautiful new and enhanced shared spaces.
