⭐ Wonderful WIBAs (What I’m Best At) in 3rd Grade
Emily Raisher, 3rd Grade Teacher
The WIBA (What I’m Best At) season has officially begun for 3rd graders! WIBA is an opportunity for students to showcase their unique talents in a variety of creative ways. Each student prepares independently, creating their own presentation and hands-on activity.
During their presentations, students use materials such as Google Slides, iMovie, poster boards, or any other innovative methods to teach their peers about their special talent. This not only introduces them to different forms of technology but also helps them develop public speaking skills.
The fun doesn’t stop there—after their presentation, WIBA hosts lead a hands-on activity that allows their peers to practice and explore the new skills they've just learned. The project topics are endless, enabling students to discover exciting new abilities each week. In previous years, 3rd graders have explored sewing, building, various sports, and so much more!
The creativity of this year’s group is already shining, and we’re all looking forward to WIBA time to learn unique skills and connect with our classmates in meaningful ways.
