🌎 W DAYS in SK107
SK107
Forget the "hump day" blues—Wednesdays in SK 107 burst with "W"onderful whimsy!
Our Responsive Classroom morning meeting includes a greeting, a share, some movement, a mindfulness activity, and reading our class message. But in SK 107, it all takes on a special “W” twist.
"Worldly Wednesday" whisks us away each week as we learn to say “good morning” in a new language, eagerly locating that country on the map or globe.
During our share, thought-provoking “Would You Rather” questions spark lively discussions. Imagine choosing between talking to animals or reading minds—or perhaps globetrotting versus exploring space!
Even our morning message might feature a hunt for whimsical "W" words!
To top it off, "Women Wednesday" enriches our learning as we explore the inspiring stories of significant women throughout history. These figures often connect to our current studies—like Sally Ride during our space unit—alongside other remarkable women such as Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie.
Wednesdays in SK 107 are truly something special. Who knows—you might just find yourself embracing the “W” spirit at home with waffles and watermelon for dinner!
