Video: Fourth Grade Tells the Story of Purim
Bracha Dror, LS Jewish Studies Teacher
In honor of Purim, 4th graders have been extremely hard at work in preparing their own special play that tells the story of Purim. The play is in Hebrew and consists of six scenes with each student having one or two parts in the play. Students have been practicing their lines and busy recording their scenes.
HaMorah Bracha is assisting the students with the Hebrew text and is helping to create the final video. They are using green screen tools to enhance their play and to give their audience the feel of the city of Shushan in Persia, where the Purim story takes place.
In the spirit of Purim and fun, students learned their different parts and then created their own reactions to the scenes via “TikTok” reflections.
Fourth graders also feel so fortunate to have Ms. Shira, one of our ShinShinim in helping the classes with recording the videos. Check out their videos below and be on the lookout on Friday for a final version of the play!
