The Learning Lab combines the Library and the Innovation Hub, creating a dynamic space for exploration and discovery. Beyond the conventional resources like books and robots that kids normally explore during their dedicated class time, this year we introduced an array of rotating stations designed for enjoyment. Recent favorites include the Stereo Microscope Station showcasing fossils and a 3D “I Spy” Box created by Ms. Brauer’s 3rd grade class. Additionally, permanent stations feature activities such as cardboard construction, giant board Boggle, sewing, beading, and 3D printing (made possible by the PTC Be Innovative Grant “BIG”). No matter the activity, the Learning Lab is a place for daily collaboration and gathering among members of the BZ community.
