Tikkun Leil Shavuot with the Class of 2023!
Shosh Bernstein, Jewish Life Coordinator
We are looking forward to an evening of Shavuot celebration and learning, where our 8th graders will lead their own BZ Tikkun Leil Shavuot—the practice of staying up all night to study in preparation to receive the Torah.
As a reminder and part of the customs of Shavuot, all 8th grade students are required to wear white shirts and parents are also encouraged to wear white. There will be spaces in the school parking lot available to families on a first-come, first-served basis. We suggest street parking on Broadway or Grace Streets, as well as Halsted Flats parking. Please reach out to Jewish Life Coordinator Shosh Bernstein with any questions.
