Shrek Jr. Operetta Set and Props: We Walk the Talk with Recycling!

What do recyclable materials and this year’s Operetta have in common? Almost all of the scenery, sets and props for Shrek Jr. were made from used brown grocery bags, old cardboard boxes and paper towel rolls. The Class of 2022 enjoyed the challenge of putting these waste items to use. 
Can you guess what we used for the tree trunks, the puffy leaves on the vines or for the flowers on the curtains? Even the arched gateway of Duloc was made from the box of a flat screen television! Take a look at all the gorgeous items this talented and creative class produced from recycled materials below.
