Miri Allali, 2nd-Grade Hebrew and Jewish Studies Teacher

During this week of distance learning, Bernard Zell second graders have been sharpening their Hebrew skills alongside their Jewish Studies. Despite not being physically together and not being able to play together outside, we were still able to virtually connect as a cohort with educational games and learning the letter Tzadi.

It is a pleasure for Hamorah Miri to teach her students without her mask so they can really see the proper formation and pronunciation of the letters and words!

The students had a great deal of fun with their recent Hebrew scavenger hunt. Each was given directions in Hebrew and was directed to find several different items in their homes. They concluded the game by finding their favorite items related to Hanukkah. Enjoy some of the screenshots below that capture second graders and their scavenger hunt with Hamorah Miri!
