Register: Destigmatizing Mental Health: When and How to Get Your Child Help
Student Services Team
All parents are invited to attend our two-part Parent Education Series, Destigmatizing Mental Health: When and How to Get Your Child Help on Tuesday, March 14 and Thursday, March 16 from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. in Makom Rina.
  • Tuesday, March 14: information session about student mental health
  • Thursday, March 16: Expert Panel (parent coach, therapist, developmental neuropsychologist and psychiatrist)
Led by our Student Services team, the sessions will feature a panel of mental health professionals currently practicing in the field who represent a diverse range of practices, modalities, and experiences treating child and family mental health. They will all be professional resources and will be providing support in our community. Since the pandemic, there's been a rise in mental health questions and concerns. These sessions are intended to be proactive in sharing information with you, our parents, about what is developmentally appropriate, educate you on how to respond to your child's questions or concerns and to know when/how to seek additional outside support if necessary.
We will also highlight the support available here at school and in the community for kids of all ages and all social emotional concerns. Additionally, Middle School students will be receiving developmentally appropriate resources on the subject in conjunction with you and their teachers.
Registration and any questions or concerns can be submitted ahead of each session, by clicking below.
