Hagit Lewis, Director of Jewish Life
Now that school is back in session, we are entering the season of "yoms." These are the days that fall between Passover and Israel's 73rd birthday on Yom HaAtzmaut. The "yoms" are the days that mark unique observances in the Jewish calendar and help us see Yom HaAtzmaut not as a separate day but as part of nine days that build up to it. We mark these days as the nine days of WE. WE Jewish people come together to remember and celebrate.
