Our amazing Middle School band teacher, Mr. Josh Mather will be playing the second trumpet in the Lakeview Orchestra, which premieres this Sunday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. After almost 600 days off due to the pandemic, the orchestra is opening their season with a Strauss horn concerto by Matthew Bronstein, who has performed with numerous orchestras all over the world. The concert will close with Beethoven's stunning Seventh Symphony. Sunday matinee concerts begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Athenaeum Theater, located at 2936 N. Southport in Lakeview.

Our community is invited to attend the performance to not only show support for our very own Mr. Mather, but to support local musicians and theaters in our neighborhood as well.
