In Ms. Sherman's art class, Middle School students reflected on the real superheroes of today and shared their ideas about how these heroes are fighting the Coronavirus Villain: Doctors, Nurses, First Responders, Scientific Researchers, Delivery People, Postal Workers, Grocery Store Workers, etc.

Ms. Sherman has received wonderful feedback from students and parents about how much they have enjoyed creating the comic strips. The project proved to be therapeutic and even empowering for some of the Middle School students. They were very eager to tell the story of battling the Coronavirus Villain via this unique and fun medium. As you can see below, Bernard Zell students are so smart, talented and witty — kol ha'kavod, middle schoolers!
