As the Nursery students took nature walks throughout the neighborhoods throughout the year, they often spotted "birdhouses with books", which inspired them to create their own Little Free Library so they too could give back to their neighborhood community by donating books. 

After Ms. Goodman ordered the parts online, the Nursery students would move into the Tinker Lab every other Friday to put a few more pieces together using real tools such as drills, measuring tapes and hammers. It took a while, and we had to be patient to see the final product, but everyone got a turn to work on the library and we can’t wait to see it installed outside on Grace Street.
