For this year’s 8th grade Morton Reisman Operetta, the Class of 2023 transported their audience back to high school for Freaky Friday, a heartfelt and comedic musical of a mother and teen switching places to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance and realize the immeasurable love and respect between a mother and daughter.

The Operetta experience is a culmination of a Bernard Zell student’s performing arts education as they each take on a role to act, sing and dance in the production. Yasher koach (great job), 8th graders! A full recording of both performances will be shared in the coming weeks.
