We are pleased to share two upcoming volunteer opportunities with our Yad b'Yad Committee and Share Our Spare. Read more below and find out how you can get involved this spring! 

Sunday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 

On Sunday, April 23, our community is invited to volunteer at Share our Spare! This is an amazing opportunity for children to see how donations are processed and includes really fun activities such as making cards, sorting clothes, and double checking packages. Please sign off our volunteer waiver and learn more information at the link below. This event will be capped at 45 people.

Monday, May 15, 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. and Tuesday, May 16, 7:45 - 9:00 a.m.

On Monday, May 15 at afternoon pick up and on Tuesday, May 16 during morning drop off, the Share Our Spare Stuff the Truck will be back at the BZ parking lot! The Yad b'Yad Committee and Share Our Spare will gather for our annual Stuff The Truck on Monday, May 15 after school from 3:00 - 4:15 p.m. and Tuesday, May 16 before school from 7:45 - 9:00 a.m.

Our entire community will have the opportunity to donate baby and toddler essentials for families in need. Share Our Spare accepts gently used or new only items listed here. The highest need items are:

• Gently used clothing for children ages 0-5

• Gently used books

• Gently used small gear items such as strollers and bassinets

• Brand new baby rash cream

• Kid's soaps, lotions, toothpaste and toothbrushes

• Diapers sizes 5 and 6

• Wipes
