What a truly incredible first week we had in 4th grade! We spent our first days together building our community by creating norms that are conducive to a strong learning environment, working together to solve STEM and math challenges and becoming instantly hooked on our new read aloud book, Holes.

Students loved interviewing their friends, and the answers to what students would do if they won $1,000,000 in the lottery ranged from donating to those in need to investing in stocks to purchasing mansions! We shared many laughs, anecdotes and thoughts this week and can already tell we’re going to have a wonderful and special year together!
