Last week, our 7th grade students and chaperones departed Chicago for Washington, D.C. for an opportunity to experience our nation’s capital and to make firsthand connections between their Jewish Studies and American History curriculum.
The class visited historical sites and informative museums including the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Library of Congress, Arlington National Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial and Mount Vernon. The trip offered inspiration, brought their curriculum to life and built lasting memories for our students!
