This past weekend, 7th grader Gabe F. and 8th graders Ben H. and Ethan T. proudly represented Bernard Zell at the International Geography Bee Regional Finals in Lincolnshire.

These BZ students showcased their vast knowledge of geography throughout the competition. All three students qualified for the National Finals in Washington, D.C., which will be held this June. 

Gabe, Ben and Ethan participated in something completely new to them and faced challenging competition from students across the region. It was a great experience for everyone and we all appreciate Dr. Ellison and Mr. Melton for recognizing these students' love of geography and for encouraging them to take the regional qualifying exam!
