Bernard Zell Hope Tree Community Project
Rena Grosser, Early Childhood Teacher

The Early Childhood team has created the BZ Hope Tree Community Project and hope you will join them in bringing their community project to life by spreading hope and positivity to our community. The BZ Hope Tree, located on Grace Street, will be a place where students and families can create, draw and paint their messages of hope on rocks, sticks, ribbons, signs or any other creative ways they can think of to add to the tree. Click on the links below to learn more and watch and listen as EC teachers express their messages of hope and inspiration!

What is Hope? Watch Ms. Freitag read If You Plant a Seed by Kadir Nelson and introduce the idea of hope and how it can inspire all of us today.

What gives you hope? The Nursery teachers share what gives them hope from our community and beyond.

Watch Ms. Grosser explain how you can add to the BZ Hope Tree and inspirations of what students and families can contribute to our tree. Bring your additions to the tree, find a special spot and see the hope and love grow!

Take a picture of you adding to the tree and share with your teachers or email them to communications@bernardzell.org.

We can't wait to see the creativity and messages of hope that our community will bring to our tree of hope!
