8th Grade Spends the Night at BZ for Shabbaton Lock-In
Dani Steele, 8th-Grade Humanities Teacher

The 8th grade celebrated Shabbat together by having the first ever lock-in and sleeping over at school. Last Friday, the students made challahs together and then departed for Cradles to Crayons for community service. Throughout Friday evening and Saturday morning, they participated in services with Anshe Emet and played a huge variety of fun games together. The students loved the unique time to bond as a grade and they can’t wait to spend their next Shabbats together in Israel.
