Our 7th grade class embarked on a BZ first last week—a tour of the White House! The students (and their chaperones) were especially excited to meet BZ alumnus Andrew Sacks, Class of 2011, who currently works as a proclamation writer. Not only did he lead an amazing Q&A with our students, he talked about how he ended up in this role, and presented the class with an official, signed proclamation honoring Jewish Heritage Month. The class also had the incredible opportunity to meet with not one, but two congresswomen— Rep. Kathy Manning and Rep. Jan Schakowsky.
