🦈 4th Grade's "Shark Tank"
Mr. Casper, 4th Grade Teacher
There’s a buzz of excitement in the 4th grade hallway as students prepare to dive into one of their most thrilling end-of-year projects yet. On June 10, our young entrepreneurs will enter the 'Shark Tank,' where they'll pitch their inventive ideas to a panel of 'sharks' in hopes of getting a bite!
Inspired by the hit TV show, each group has been hard at work dreaming up solutions to real-world problems, combining creativity, collaboration, and their growing STEM skills. From fog-proof swimming goggles to a summer camp bag equipped with face-recognition pockets, their ideas are as imaginative as they are innovative. One team is even designing a finger glove with a built-in pad for Lego creations—no more lost bricks or sore fingers!
The Shark Tank project is the perfect capstone to a year of hands-on learning, encouraging students to think critically, problem-solve, and present with confidence. Whether or not they get a deal, every student is gaining valuable experience in design thinking and teamwork.
Stay tuned to see which inventions will make a splash with the sharks!
