Which neighborhood do you live in? Students in 3rd grade are investigating the neighborhoods of Chicago. First, each student used Google Maps to locate their home. Then, they zoomed out to find out which neighborhood was theirs. After, each student drew three pictures that represented their neighborhood. Some favorites in included, Jenni’s Ice Cream, Starbucks, Lucky Strikes and the park. To begin our exploration, the 3rd graders will take a deep dive into the Chinatown neighborhood. They are very much looking forward to exploring the Chinese New Year, the Zodiac animals and Chinese culture!
