Students in 6th Grade Utilize "Friday Fun" for Each Shabbat
Jamie Wendt and Ashley Johnson, 6th Grade Teachers
"Friday Fun" in Gibush is something we look forward to in 6th grade! We start off our Gibush with a high energy Shabbat greeting where the kids get to show off their personality while welcoming others in the class. It is a great way to display our ruach (spirit).
We also play a game on Fridays, which is often advisory vs. advisory. These teach us to work together while enjoying ourselves. This past Friday, 6th graders participated in a game of ‘Charades’, which had us moving our bodies to act out the word, using our brain to figure out the answer and collaborating with our team for the last guess of the game.
