Bernard Zell Application Deadline and Parent Partnered Tours
  • Admissions
Brian Barasch, Director of Marketing & Communications
Do you have a friend or family member considering Bernard Zell for their child’s education? If so, make sure you spread the word that this Friday is the application deadline for students who wish to begin in the fall of 2022.
And whether those friends have already applied or are still waiting to do so, you now have the opportunity to show off everything you love about the BZ community by participating in a Parent Partnered Tour. These special tours allow you to bring a friend and join them, along with our admissions team, for a personalized Bernard Zell campus tour. If you have someone you’d like to show around, contact admissions@bernardzell.org to schedule your tour today.
Offering leadership not only on these tours but for our overall admissions efforts is our new Director of Admissions, Rebecca Frazin-Chan.
Rebecca was most recently the Director of Engagement and Programming at Chicago Sinai Congregation. She received her undergraduate degree in Jewish Studies and Psychology from Indiana University and her Masters in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Elsewhere, Rebecca has worked for the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago and the U.S. House of Representatives.
When not engaging with current and prospective school families, Rebecca, her husband Kenny, and their children Spencer and Oliver enjoy finding the city’s best playgrounds and splash pads and keeping up to date on all of the best (and not so great) TV shows.
While so much of Rebecca’s work will focus on welcoming new families, we encourage you to welcome her to our community when you see her around campus!
