🎉 Party Policy Update 2022-23
Gary Weisserman, Head of School
Dear Families,
At Bernard Zell, we are committed to building compassionate and kind human beings and we pride ourselves in being an inclusive community. Please remember that as adults, it is our responsibility to model such qualities and values for our students within our everyday activities. To ensure all members of our kehillah (community) feel included, we have updated our Party Policy to reflect those commitments:
For parties where at least half the students of one group (grade, class, identity group within a grade or class, etc.) are invited, please create a welcoming environment and invite all members of that group. Be mindful of who you are not inviting and considerate of how that may make them feel.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out via email. We are grateful for your partnership in maintaining our welcoming community.
Sincerely,
Ericka Thacker
