Special Friends’ Week is a celebration that our community looks forward to every year. Students love welcoming the important people in their lives to school so they can show off their hard work, creative triumphs and share all that Bernard Zell has to offer.
Similar to last year, we are reimagining the Special Friends’ Day experience as a weeklong, virtual event that maintains the spirit of the day and expands opportunities for engagement, while still ensuring the safety of our full community. Special Friends’ Week will begin on Monday, May 3 with a variety of virtual experiences throughout the week, including opportunities to engage with students, teachers and Bernard Zell leadership, concluding on Friday, May 8. While the format might be different, it will be just as meaningful for you—and for the students—as it is every year.
Please save these dates now, and in the following weeks, you will receive a comprehensive schedule of virtual events and simple instructions for how to participate. We hope you are safe, healthy and are looking forward to the warmth and joy of celebrating this special day!
