In 5th-grade humanities class, students have been working on crafting their first personal narrative, taking their piece through the writing process. After a full week of revisions, this week students were able to partner together to edit for conventions in spelling, punctuation and paragraphing.

In reading classes, book clubs are up and running strong! Students are writing and discussing themes, characterization and debatable topics from their book club books enhancing their interpretive thinking skills!
