Tiyul '25 Blog | Day Nine | Camel riding, Kiryat Gat Mifgash, Archeological Dig, Arrival in Tel Aviv!
Ms. Einberger
Hannah G: We met the Mifgash group at a grapevine and volunteered to help remove leaves, allowing the grapes to grow more freely. Afterward, we drove back to their school for a silent disco party! Each of us received headphones and we danced, hung out, and enjoyed snacks together. It was exciting to reconnect with the Mifgash!
Following our time in Kiryat Gat, we also had the opportunity to participate in an archaeological dig. We unearthed some cool artifacts, including fragments of a large pot, a complete oil lamp, and other pottery pieces. We finally arrived in Tel Aviv, and many of us were able to reconnect with family members we hadn't seen in years! I even got to see cousins I haven't seen since I was four years old!
Soli E: Today, we went spelunking. We crawled through ancient caves to see what the people of that time built and walked through. The caves were mostly dark, illuminated only by candles. It was very cool to walk around a place where people lived so long ago.
