BZ Beyond is divided into three main sessions throughout the school year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Families also have the option to register for BZ Beyond: Back to School, which provides after-school care before Fall and Winter programming begins.

Please reference the calendars below for important session dates.

Our BZ Beyond: Daily Program offers a thoughtfully planned after-school experience for students who remain on campus following the school day. The program is offered Monday through Thursday from 3:30–4:45 p.m. and Fridays from 2:45–4:00 p.m.

Students enjoy a balance of recreational games, outdoor play, creative projects, and opportunities to relax, socialize, and engage in activities that reflect their individual interests. Led by our dedicated BZ Beyond staff, the program provides a safe, welcoming environment where students can continue learning, exploring, and building friendships beyond the classroom.

Extended Care is available Monday - Thursday through 5:30 p.m.  More information on Extended Care below.

BZ Beyond Enrichment Classes are specialty after-school classes held Monday through Thursday from 3:30-4:45 p.m. and Fridays from 2:45-4:00 p.m.

Designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and exploration beyond the classroom, each program session offers a wide variety of unique classes led by Bernard Zell faculty and experienced instructors in areas such as athletics, arts, STEM, culinary arts, music, and more!

Extended Care is available Monday - Thursday through 5:30 p.m.  More information on Extended Care below.

BZ Beyond: Back to School is a flexible after-school care option designed to support families during the transition weeks before Fall and Winter programming begins. Students have a familiar, supervised space to spend the afternoon while easing back into their school-day routines.

BZ Beyond: Back to School is offered Monday through Thursday from 3:30–5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 2:45–4:00 p.m. Families may register for the individual days they need care during each Back to School period.

Please note: Registration for BZ Beyond: Back to School is separate from seasonal session registration.

Extended Care is available for families who need additional time beyond the end of the BZ Beyond day (4:45 p.m.). Students registered for Extended Care may remain on campus until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday while continuing to enjoy a safe, supervised environment led by our BZ Beyond staff.

Extended Care is not available on Fridays due to Shabbat.

A drop-in allows students in Nursery through 5th Grade to attend the BZ Beyond: Daily Program on an as-needed basis without being enrolled for the full session. Drop-ins are available for the Daily Program only and are not offered for BZ Beyond Enrichment Classes.
