Judaism in the 21st-Century

Wish you were an 8th grader at Bernard Zell?

What does it mean to be Jewish in the twenty-first century? Each year 8th grade students take a course called Jewish Heritage and Identity during which they grapple with what it means to them to be Jewish. They are challenged to identify the essential building blocks of a contemporary Jewish identity by critically examining classic and modern texts.

Join in a parent version of this course, led by Tzivia Garfinkel, Director of Jewish Life and Learning, on Wednesday mornings, beginning January 23, at 8:15 in the 3rd floor Conference Room.

Please RSVP and submit any questions or topics you want to discuss. Hope to see you there!
