At this time each year, we reflect on the story of our ancestors who wandered through the desert experiencing hardship and uncertainty before ultimately arriving in the Promised Land. In our current moment, as we once again prepare to recount this story, those feelings of uncertainty seem even more relatable than ever. But despite an air of uneasiness, your Bernard Zell family is here to support you, offer you guidance, hope and a little bit of fun through our first-ever virtual haggadah. Each of more than 30 different videos captures a piece of the Passover seder, led by Bernard Zell faculty, staff and students. You can look for chametz with Ms. Jury, get tips on where to hide your afikomen from the advancement team, sing Chad Gadya with the entire Einberger family, and of course, don’t miss out on singing Dayenu with teachers from across the school.
You can watch them all, or skip through to the pieces of the seder most meaningful for your family. While it might not be quite as good as gathering together in person, we hope it brings you some joy during this moment of uncertainty. Chag Pesach Sameach—we look forward to being together with you again soon!
