When you click the Confirm button in Step Three - you will be redirected to the
BZ Connect sign in page. Enter your email address
The first time you log in, you should receive a message that your account is being converted. If your Blackbaud ID session is still active from Step 3, you'll automatically be signed in after clicking Continue.
If you land on the Sign In page, and see the message "there is no account with this email", scroll down and click the Sign Up button. This will connect your email address with your account so you can create your Blackbaud ID.
Blackbaud, the company that provides the software that powers BZ Connect as well as our admissions, fundraising and accounting software, is requiring all users who log on to one of those platforms to authenticate with a Blackbaud ID as an extra layer of security. Students and employees have been using Blackbaud ID for three years.
Click here to read the initial announcements about Blackbaud ID from MaNishma.
Your Blackbaud ID is affiliated with the email address you use to log in to Bernard Zell resources. Generally this is the same email address where you receive MaNishma, The Week Ahead, Classroom posts and other Bernard Zell communications.
When you see a flashing screen after entering your Blackbaud ID email address at the login page, this usually means that another account with an email address affiliated with a Bernard Zell Blackbaud ID is already logged in on the device you are using. (Have your children logged in recently?)
One quick way to resolve this is to open an Incognito Window or a Private Browsing window. Then navigate to bernardzell.org and use the Quick Links/Login in the upper right hand corner.
If you have forgotten your Blackbaud ID password, you can reset it online. To keep your login secure, Bernard Zell staff do not have access to your password and do not have the ability to change passwords.
On the login page, click Forgot Password? You will be sent a Password Reset link via email. Follow the prompts in that email.
