Welcome to the home of the Bernard Zell Parent Teacher Council!

If you’re a parent at Bernard Zell, you’re already a member of the Parent Teacher Council (PTC). The PTC is a place for teachers and parents to communicate in a welcoming forum and where parents can serve as ambassadors for the school. The council also oversees many important school events and opportunities for fundraising.

The PTC has an executive board of seven elected officers, and a full board that includes all committee chairs. Parents and teachers are encouraged to attend any PTC meeting. Dear BZ Parents,

I am so excited to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! For those I haven’t yet met, my name is Allyson Becker. This is my 9th year as a parent at Bernard Zell and I promise you, it really goes by in the blink of an eye!

As President, I look forward to helping you find a space and place for you, wherever you are in your journey as a BZ parent at Bernard Zell. 

We will be hosting other events throughout the year including teacher appreciation pop-ups, Shabbat in the park gatherings and opportunities for your family to serve the greater community with Yad B' Yad. There is really something for everyone! 

This year, we’ve streamlined the signup process to make it as easy as possible! Bookmark this centralized volunteer hub as it will be updated throughout the year.
