Welcome to the home of the Bernard Zell Parent Teacher Council!

Every parent at Bernard Zell is a member of the Parent Teacher Council (PTC). The PTC serves three key objectives:

1. Support faculty and administration through the Be Innovative Grant (BIG) which awards over $15,000 annually to support teachers and staff in implementing innovative projects and ideas that would otherwise go unfunded. One example is last year’s successful curriculum pilot called Wit & Wisdom which is now being rolled out across lower school.  Additionally, our Faculty & Staff Appreciation committee delivers tokens of gratitude throughout the school year, on behalf of BZ families.

2. Be an extra set of hands for school by opening car doors in the morning, helping students during lunch time, and volunteering for countless other opportunities.

3. Create community with excellent programing, events, and volunteer opportunities organized by our various committees.

The PTC has an executive board of eight elected positions and 13 unique committees that support the above objectives. We truly believe there is a place for every parent—and even welcome grandparents and special friends to join our community. Anyone is welcome to join.
