SK108 is learning all about the human body and began by exploring their five senses. They are learning how their senses help them explore the world around them, and the means by which these senses gather information.

A Love of Gardening Takes Root in

Lower School

Over the years, students in Lower School have used the hydroponic plant tower generously funded by the PTC Teacher Innovation Initiative and have seen and tasted basil, butter lettuces, swiss chard, and cucumbers, just to name a few. This year, students are attempting to grow large tomatoes in the tower!

PTC Serves Up Tikkun Olam

Over 20 BZ community members participated in our Yad B'Yad volunteer event at The Ronald McDonald House downtown. Student and parent volunteers learned about the mission of the Ronald McDonald House, cooked a delicious brunch for current Ronald McDonald residents, served the meal and cleaned up the kitchen. We are so grateful for our community's efforts to demonstrate tikkun olam and for making the world a better place!
