Nursery - 8th grade applications are due December 15, 2025. Click here to apply.

Once you have submitted your applications, access our Admissions Portal to submit the remaining required forms by January 9, 2026:

• Teacher Recommendations: Email these forms, which are available in the portal, directly to your child's current school.

• Birth Certificate: Upload a copy.

• Child's Photo: Upload a recent photo.

• Academic Records (for 1st - 7th grade applicants only):

  • End-of-year report cards.

  • Math and reading comprehension scores from the most recent standardized tests or assessments.

Nursery - Senior Kindergarten Applicants

Bernard Zell staff will arrange a "school visit" to observe your child. This is a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity for us to see your child in their current learning environment. We will contact your child's school directly to find a time that works best.

If your child is not currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Daycare or Preschool, we will schedule a time for your child to come to Bernard Zell to spend time with our Early Childhood Development Specialist.

1st - 8th Grade Applicants

A shadow day is required as part of the admissions process. We will provide you with more information on scheduling this after your application materials have been received.

Parents or guardians must meet with our Director of Admissions and the head of the development they applied for.

Please schedule this one-on-one meeting through our Admissions Portal. You have the option to meet either in-person or virtually.
