Seeking a Development Associate that will manage a majority of major donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities. The candidate will assume responsibility for day-to-day coordination and operational management of the capital and endowment campaign. The candidate is an organized, focused and detail-oriented individual that will complete the high-level, behind-the-scenes-tasks associated with the planning and implementation of campaigns. A successful candidate has the confidence to be proactive in assuming responsibilities that will relieve both professional and lay leadership to focus on the donor constituency. This individual must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with particular comfort respectfully interacting with major donors, board and other lay leaders, and senior staff.
 
Seeking an educational leader for our Lower School (1st - 4th grade) to guide a creative and committed learning community of approximately 200 students and 25 faculty and staff. Working with the faculty, the Head of Lower School is charged with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Lower School as well as articulating a clear and compelling vision for the division's future that supports Bernard Zell’s mission. With a highly capable faculty, committed parents, and outstanding facilities, the school is in a uniquely attractive position, with a deeply felt and lived history, clear mission and genuine openness to the possibilities that lie ahead.
 
Seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate Jewish Studies substitute educator to instill knowledge and love for Judaism, Israel, and values in our students through both academic and social-emotional learning. Qualified candidates will be able to work collaboratively across grades and disciplines with a team of exceptional faculty & staff.  
 
Seeking a substitute teacher to help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development in the absence of the regular teacher.
 
Seeking a warm, talented educator who will serve as a full-time visual arts teacher. The ideal candidate will love working with Lower School students and have a deep understanding of Lower School developmental needs of students in Senior Kindergarten through 4th grade and the impact of those needs on curricular decisions and the studio environment. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and oral communication, be committed to collaborative relationships with colleagues, and be excited about integrating arts throughout the Lower School and Senior Kindergarten. Additionally, the candidate should possess a strong academic and professional background in visual arts. A desire to instill students with a passion for learning through the arts and an appreciation for creativity and wonder are essential.
