Hear O Israel: The Eternal is our God, the Eternal is One! (Deuteronomy 6:4)

We take pride in the story of the Jewish people and actively embrace our own roles as authors of the next chapters in Jewish history. We foster a strong positive connection between our students, the State of Israel, and global Jewry. We honor the diversity of ways people express Jewish ideals and live Jewish life. We value each individual for who they are, as we learn, celebrate, and practice together.

כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל עֲרֵבִים זֶה בָּזֶה
Kol Yisrael areivim zeh bazeh
All of Israel are responsible for each other (Talmud Bavli, Sanhedrin 27b)

We put relationships first. We take the time to know, appreciate, and include one another. We continuously work to strengthen collaboration across our community of teachers, students, families, and alumni. With empathy and authenticity, we foster the trust and sense of belonging necessary to deliver an exceptional education.

אֵיזֶהוּ חָכָם? הַלּוֹמֵד מִכָּל אָדָם
Halomed mikol adam
Who is wise? One who learns from everyone Eizehu chacham? (Pirkei Avot 4:1)

We spur greater learning and growth by leveraging the Jewish traditions of questioning and inquiry. We engage, motivate, and challenge one another to reach higher and develop our critical, creative, and independent thinking

וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ
V’ahavta lerei’acha kamocha
Love your neighbor as yourself (Leviticus 19:18)

Excellence requires more than knowledge. It demands menschiness: courage, integrity, and prioritizing our shared humanity. We commit to the loving-kindness, respectful dialogue, and action that are all necessary to repair our world.

בְמָקוֹם שֶׁאֵין אֲנָשִׁים, הִשְׁתַּדֵּל לִהְיוֹת אִישׁ
Bemakom she’ein anashim, hishtadeil lehiyot ish.
In a place where there are no people [leading], strive to be the person [who is needed]. (Pirkei Avot 2:5)

We continuously look for ways to invent and reinvent the teaching and learning experience. We push beyond our comfort zones to find the right path to growth and impact. Through example, we encourage students to embrace challenge, step into leadership, and pursue achievement.
