The Zell Family Fund for Jewish Education was created to help Jewish families in Chicago who are committed to providing their children with an outstanding education shaped by Jewish values. Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School established this fund to address the challenge of affordability by offering tuition assistance to students with demonstrated financial need and to support additional investment in both educational and strategic initiatives.
The Zell Family Fund for Jewish Education was made possible by a significant pledge from the Zell Family Foundation. Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School was dedicated to the memory of Bernard Zell, father of Sam Zell, chairman of Equity Group Investments, in 1988.
